Installation
Designed for use with compatible glue-down LVT tiles to create grouted joints, borders and decorative feature details.
Choose the strip gauge to suit the LVT being installed. Where the main tile has a bevelled edge, Polyflor recommends selecting an inlay accessory 0.5mm thinner than the tile gauge. Set out the tile pattern and grout-strip position before fixing to keep joint lines straight and evenly spaced.
Polyflor Grout Strips are LVT inlay accessories used to create the appearance of a grouted joint between vinyl tiles. They are particularly effective with stone, slate and ceramic-effect LVT, adding definition to each tile and giving the finished floor a more considered tiled appearance.
The strips can be selected in a close matching shade for a subtle joint line, or in a contrasting colour to make the tile layout more pronounced. Available in different gauges, they are designed to sit level with compatible glue-down LVT flooring.
Polyflor Grout Strips also allow more freedom in a floor design, helping to define room zones, borders and feature areas without the upkeep associated with traditional grout.
Polyflor Grouting Strips are designed to sit between compatible LVT tiles, creating a grout-line effect or a contrasting design detail. They are installed as part of a glue-down LVT floor, not as an addition over an existing finished floor.
Check that the strip gauge matches the selected LVT system. When fitting alongside bevelled planks or tiles, select an accessory that is 0.5mm thinner than the main flooring to help maintain a flush surface.
Set out the tile pattern and strip positions before adhesive is applied. Cut the strips accurately, fit them into the layout using a compatible adhesive and ensure the adjoining tiles are aligned evenly without gaps or raised edges.
Roll the completed installation thoroughly and protect it from heavy traffic until the adhesive has cured.

Polyflor Grouting Strips form part of the finished LVT floor and should be maintained in the same way as the surrounding tiles or planks. Regularly remove dust and grit to help keep the floor surface clean and defined.
Use a damp mop with a suitable neutral vinyl-floor cleaner for routine maintenance. Avoid abrasive pads, solvent-based cleaners and harsh chemicals, which may affect the appearance of the strip or adjoining floorcovering.
Use effective entrance matting to limit dirt and moisture, and protect the completed floor from furniture scuffs with suitable pads. If a strip becomes loose or damaged, arrange repair by a competent flooring installer.
