Install CFS Plaza on a clean, dry and level subfloor using a suitable adhesive. Plan the direction of the linear pattern before cutting so the finished area looks consistent. Regular vacuuming will help remove loose debris and maintain the appearance of the matting.
CFS Plaza Entrance Matting in Anthracite 2098 is made for busy interior entrances where durability and a smart finish matter equally. Its structured linear design adds subtle texture to the floor, while the deep anthracite tone gives doorways, lobbies and reception areas a clean, modern look.
This heavy contract matting is made from 100% polypropylene and supplied in a 2 metre-wide sheet, making it ideal for larger continuous entrance areas. The impervious gel backing provides a stable, practical base once fitted, while the dense fibre-bonded surface is designed for regular foot traffic.
With a Class 33 heavy commercial rating and a 5-year commercial warranty, Plaza is a strong choice for public-facing spaces that need a reliable entrance surface. It is well suited to interiors where dirt and moisture are likely to be brought in from outside.
Allow the 2m-wide CFS Plaza matting to acclimatise in the installation area before fitting. The subfloor must be dry, smooth, clean and structurally sound. Remove all dust, grease, paint, wax, loose material and previous adhesive residues, then repair or level any areas that could affect the finished installation.
Inspect the Anthracite 2098 sheet for correct colour, dimensions and condition before cutting. Plan its position carefully to minimise joins and make neat cuts around walls, door frames and fixed items. Keep the material flat and relaxed, without stretching it into place.
Fully adhere the gel-backed matting using an adhesive compatible with the backing, subfloor and expected heavy-traffic use. Follow the adhesive manufacturer’s instructions for coverage, open time and cure, then roll the finished sheet as recommended to secure complete contact and remove trapped air.
Finish exposed edges with suitable trims or transition profiles. Protect the new installation from heavy traffic until the adhesive has fully cured.

Vacuum CFS Plaza Entrance Matting in Anthracite 2098 frequently to remove grit, dry debris and moisture brought in through the entrance. In busy commercial locations, cleaning the first section inside the door daily will help the 6mm structured pile continue to protect surrounding floors.
