Install CFS New Drever Red on a clean, dry and level subfloor using a suitable adhesive. Plan the layout and direction of the pattern before cutting, then fit the sheet carefully for a neat finish. Regular vacuuming will help remove loose dirt and maintain the appearance of the entrance area.
CFS New Drever Entrance Matting in Red is a strong choice for entrances that need to make more of a statement. The bold red finish adds energy to the space and works especially well in schools, leisure centres, retail environments and branded commercial interiors.
Built for heavy commercial use, this fibre-bonded entrance matting is made from 100% polypropylene and has a structured chevron-style surface. The textured finish is designed to cope with regular foot traffic, while the gel rubber backing provides a stable base once the matting is fitted.
Supplied as a 2 metre-wide sheet, New Drever Red gives larger entrance areas a continuous, professional finish. It combines a practical entrance surface with a colour that brings warmth and personality to the first impression of the building.
Before fitting, allow the Red 0700 matting to acclimatise in the room. Prepare the subfloor so it is dry, smooth, level, clean and structurally stable. Remove all dust, grease, wax, paint, old adhesive residues and loose material, then make good any imperfections before laying the sheet.
Inspect the 2m-wide material for correct colour, condition and size before cutting. Plan the placement carefully and trim accurately around walls, door frames and permanent fittings. Keep the sheet relaxed and flat; do not stretch it into position.
Use an adhesive system compatible with gel-backed entrance matting and the prepared subfloor. Apply adhesive evenly across the installation area, observe the manufacturer’s timing requirements and lay the sheet with care. Roll the surface thoroughly after fitting to secure full contact and remove air pockets.
Finish exposed edges with appropriate threshold or edge profiles. Keep heavy foot traffic off the newly installed matting until the adhesive has reached full cure.

Respond to spills immediately by blotting with a clean, absorbent cloth. Use an entrance-matting cleaner suitable for polypropylene only when required, and follow the product’s instructions. Do not use harsh solvents, bleach, steam equipment or abrasive cleaning tools.
Arrange occasional deep cleaning where daily use causes soil to build up. At each clean, inspect edges and junctions with adjacent flooring to ensure the sheet remains flat, secure and safe underfoot.
