CFS Eternity Acoustic LVT is a wood-effect luxury vinyl plank floor made for homes, social housing and light-commercial interiors where reducing noise is important. Its integrated acoustic construction achieves 19 dB impact-sound reduction, helping create a quieter, more comfortable environment in apartments, upper-floor rooms and multi-occupancy buildings.
The long planks give the floor a natural timber-style appearance, with a choice of classic oak, pine and washed-wood looks. Small shade variations between planks are part of the design and help produce a more convincing, less uniform finished floor.
At 4 mm thick with a 0.3 mm wear layer, Eternity Acoustic provides a practical balance of comfort, durability and value. It is rated for heavy domestic and light-commercial use, with an R10 slip-resistance rating for added everyday reassurance.
Allow unopened packs to acclimatise in the installation room before fitting. The subfloor must be dry, smooth, clean and structurally sound; any dips, cracks, raised areas or residues should be corrected before the LVT is laid.
Check planks from several packs before installation. Natural variation can occur within the same colour design, so blend planks during fitting to achieve a balanced overall appearance. Plan the layout and stagger end joints, avoiding very short perimeter pieces where possible.
CFS Eternity Acoustic LVT is a dryback product and should be installed using an adhesive suitable for acoustic-backed PVC LVT and the prepared subfloor. Apply the adhesive evenly, observe its required tack and working time, then place planks accurately without forcing the joints. Roll the floor as specified by the adhesive manufacturer to secure a uniform bond.
Do not install an additional soft underlay beneath the planks unless the complete system has been specifically approved. Finish exposed edges and doorways with suitable trims, then protect the floor from heavy traffic until the adhesive has fully cured.

Sweep or vacuum CFS Eternity Acoustic LVT regularly to remove loose dirt and grit. Clean with a damp mop and a neutral cleaner formulated for vinyl floors, taking care not to leave excess water on the surface or around the plank edges.
Avoid abrasive cleaning pads, steam cleaners, solvent-based products and strong alkaline cleaners. Use furniture protectors beneath legs and avoid dragging heavy objects across the floor to reduce the risk of surface marks.
Use entrance matting in busy access areas and ensure any mat backing is suitable for vinyl flooring. Deal with spills promptly to keep the floor clean and help preserve its appearance.
