The subfloor must be smooth, dry, sound and free from dust, grease and loose debris. Apply an even coat with a suitable roller and allow it to dry to a tacky film before laying the tiles. Actual coverage depends on the absorbency of the substrate and the tile backing.
STYCCOBOND F41 is a pressure-sensitive carpet-tile tackifier for holding compatible loose-lay tiles firmly in place. It dries to a permanently tacky film that resists lateral movement under everyday traffic while allowing single tiles to be lifted and renewed when necessary.
The 20-litre pack is a practical option for larger commercial areas. It is roller-applied, dries quickly and supports a clean replacement process for worn or damaged tiles without extensive remedial work.
STYCCOBOND F41 20L is a solvent-free, pressure-sensitive carpet-tile tackifier. It is intended for dimensionally stable, flat-lay carpet tiles with compatible bitumen/felt, non-woven, PVC and polymer backings.
Ensure the subfloor is structurally sound, smooth, dry and free from dust, grease, old loose adhesive and other contaminants. Suitable backgrounds include compatible smoothing compounds, concrete, sand/cement screeds, plywood, terrazzo and raised-access flooring panels.
Use a roller to apply an even, continuous coat. Let the adhesive dry from white to a clear, permanently tacky finish before positioning the carpet tiles. Lay tiles accurately to the selected layout and press them firmly into the film to obtain even contact.
At 20°C, STYCCOBOND F41 typically dries in around 20 minutes. Coverage varies from approximately 8m² to 22m² per litre according to the subfloor and tile backing.

The tacky film created by STYCCOBOND F41 is designed to hold carpet tiles in position while allowing individual tiles to be removed when replacement or access is needed. Before refitting a tile, make sure its backing and the adhesive surface are clean and free from loose debris.
After installation, clean the carpet tiles using the maintenance method recommended for that range. The adhesive is suitable for floors cleaned by normal wet-cleaning methods, but avoid allowing water to sit at exposed edges or enter the subfloor.
