Thoroughly mix the two components before application. Apply to a smooth, dry and sound substrate using the specified fine-notch trowel, then install the compatible flooring within the working time. Confirm the flooring manufacturer’s requirements for temperature tolerance, wet areas and adhesive selection.
STYCCOBOND F49 Hybrid PS is a two-part, temperature-tolerant pressure-sensitive adhesive for compatible PVC flooring. It is intended for locations where floor temperatures can vary widely, including conservatories and spaces with large areas of glazing.
The 5kg kit is suited to medium-sized specialist installations. Its water-resistant formulation, long post-mix working time and strong bonding properties make it a reliable choice for compatible vinyl flooring, PVC accessories and wet-room applications.
STYCCOBOND F49 5kg is a two-part, pressure-sensitive adhesive for compatible PVC flooring in sheet and tile form. It is designed for areas subject to substantial temperature variation, including conservatories and rooms with floor-to-ceiling windows.
Prepare the subfloor so it is clean, smooth, dry and structurally sound. Remove dust, grease, loose material and other contaminants, then confirm that the planned floorcovering is compatible with the F49 system.
Thoroughly mix the base and activator components as specified by F. Ball. Spread the mixed adhesive evenly using a fine-notch trowel, allow it to dry to a tacky film, then install and roll the flooring to achieve full contact. The product can also secure compatible PVC edging, flexible skirting, coving and capping.
At 20°C, the mixed adhesive has an open time of up to four hours and dries from around 20 minutes. Coverage is up to 6m² per kg with an A1 fine-notch trowel; a 5kg pack can cover up to approximately 30m².

Keep the fitted floor protected while STYCCOBOND F49 HYBRID PS cures. Do not introduce heavy traffic, move furniture or begin routine wet cleaning until the adhesive has developed its full bond.
Once the installation is complete, clean the PVC floorcovering in accordance with its manufacturer’s recommendations. The cured adhesive is water resistant, but good floor-care practice still includes prompt removal of spills and protecting seams and edges from damage.
