Before installation, ensure that the wall is clean, dry and smooth and that the floorcovering has been properly coved and trimmed. Apply a suitable contact adhesive, then press the capping strip evenly into position along the upper edge of the flooring.
Quantum QCC3 is a flexible PVC capping strip designed to finish the upper edge of resilient floorcoverings where they are carried up the wall. Its compact profile provides a neat finishing line, helping the completed coved flooring detail look clean and professionally installed.
Because the QCC3 is flexible, it is useful where wall lines are not perfectly straight or where the installation needs to follow gentle curves. It is designed for internal resilient flooring systems and is fitted with contact adhesive.
Quantum QCC3 is a flexible PVC capping strip for internal resilient-floor installations. Supplied in 2m lengths, it is designed to give a tidy finish where floorcovering is continued up the wall as part of a cap-and-cove system.
Prepare the wall, flooring edge and fixing surface so they are smooth, dry, clean and free from dust, grease or loose material. Measure the installation line and cut the profile carefully, allowing for corners and any changes of direction.
Apply a compatible contact adhesive in line with the adhesive manufacturer’s instructions. Once the correct bonding stage is reached, align the QCC3 evenly over the flooring edge and press it firmly into place without stretching, twisting or leaving gaps.
Complete associated coving, welding and waterproofing work in accordance with the flooring system specification.

Clean the Quantum QCC3 Flexible Capping Strip with the surrounding floor and wall finish, using a soft cloth or mop and a mild cleaner suitable for PVC. Regular cleaning helps prevent dirt from collecting along the top edge of the resilient flooring.
Avoid abrasive pads, solvent-based cleaners and sharp implements, as these may mark the profile or weaken the flooring finish at the junction. During routine maintenance, check that the strip remains securely bonded, especially in frequently cleaned areas.
