CFS Connexion Tiles are designed for spaces that need a little more movement and colour than a plain carpet tile. The mixed striped pattern creates a gentle transition across the floor, making it useful for linking neutral areas with brighter zones or adding visual direction through a room.
Its tufted loop-pile finish is practical for commercial use, while the 100% polyamide pile provides dependable wear performance in busy interiors. Connexion is rated Class 33 for heavy commercial use and has a slim 6 mm overall thickness, giving it a neat, durable finish without feeling overly bulky.
The 50 cm x 50 cm tile format makes planning and installation straightforward. Connexion is available in eight colourways, including calm tone-on-tone options and more noticeable accent shades. It can be used on its own or alongside complementary CFS Tradition Tiles to create zoning, pathways or colour-led feature areas.
Allow the tiles to acclimatise in the installation area before fitting. Prepare the subfloor so it is dry, smooth, clean and structurally sound, with all cracks, high spots, loose material and contamination addressed beforehand.
Set out the room carefully to create balanced perimeter cuts. Because Connexion has a mixed striped pattern, decide on the intended direction before work begins and maintain it consistently across the installation. Where Connexion is used alongside coordinating tile ranges, agree the transition and layout in advance.
Apply a suitable carpet-tile tackifier or adhesive compatible with the bitumen backing and subfloor. Once the adhesive reaches the required tack, fit the 500mm x 500mm tiles accurately edge to edge. Do not force tiles together, overlap joints or leave gaps.
Cut border tiles neatly around walls, door frames and fixed features, then finish exposed edges with suitable trim profiles. Retain matching tiles for future maintenance.

Vacuum CFS Connexion Tiles regularly, with more frequent cleaning in entrance zones, corridors and other busy circulation areas. Removing dry grit early helps maintain the appearance of the striped loop-pile design.
Blot spills promptly with a clean, white cloth. Do not rub, as this can spread the spill and alter the pile texture. Use a carpet-tile cleaning product appropriate for polyamide fibres, and test it first on a spare tile.
Plan periodic professional cleaning according to the building’s level of use. Store a small number of unused tiles from the same batch for straightforward replacement of any damaged or permanently marked sections.
