CFS Inspiration Cut Tiles are a textured commercial carpet tile with a cut-and-loop pile finish. The mix of pile types creates a more detailed, premium-looking surface than a standard plain loop tile, making it a strong choice for interiors where the flooring needs to feel considered as well as hard-wearing.
Made from 100% solution-dyed nylon, Inspiration Cut is designed for busy commercial, education and public-sector environments. The dense pile construction helps the floor retain a smart appearance under regular use, while the bitumen backing provides a stable base for installation.
The range is available in nine colourways, including versatile greys, blues and warmer tones. Each 50 cm x 50 cm tile is easy to handle, and the modular format makes it possible to replace a single tile if one area becomes damaged or heavily marked.
Fit CFS Inspiration Cut Tiles indoors only, over a dry, properly prepared subfloor. It must be smooth, sound and free from dust, grease, old adhesive residues, paint and loose material. Test the subfloor condition and moisture level before work starts, and prime porous or dusty surfaces where required.
Inspect tiles before installation to confirm the batch, colour, size and condition. Do not mix production batches, as minor shade differences may occur. Maintain a stable room temperature of at least 18°C, remove tiles from their outer packaging and allow them to acclimatise loose in the space for 24 hours.
Establish the set-out lines before applying adhesive, then use a CFS-approved carpet-tile tackifier or adhesive that is compatible with the bitumen backing and subfloor. Apply it evenly, allow the correct tack time and place the 500mm x 500mm tiles accurately without gaps or overlap. Check the chosen installation direction throughout, particularly where the cut-and-loop pattern is intended to create a consistent visual effect.
Where underfloor heating is present, keep the floor surface below 27°C and switch the heating off for 48 hours before and after fitting. Cut perimeter tiles carefully, fit suitable edge trims where needed and retain matching spare tiles for later repairs.

Vacuum CFS Inspiration Cut Tiles frequently, particularly around entrances, corridors and workstations where dry dirt can become embedded in the pile. Use a vacuum suitable for carpet tiles and maintain effective entrance matting to reduce grit being carried onto the floor.
Attend to spills without delay. Blot liquids with a clean white cloth, working from the outside towards the centre; avoid rubbing, which can spread the stain or disturb the pile. Use a cleaner designed for solution-dyed nylon carpet, always following its dilution and safety instructions.
Plan periodic deep cleaning around the actual traffic level of the area. Keep spare tiles from the same production batch where possible, so an isolated damaged or permanently stained tile can be replaced cleanly.
