For the best finish, fit Sacramento Classic over a suitable carpet underlay using gripper around the room perimeter. Ensure the subfloor is clean, dry and level before installation. Regular vacuuming and prompt attention to spills will help keep the carpet looking fresh.

The secondary backing is intended to be installed over good-quality carpet underlay, helping improve comfort and support beneath the carpet. With an 8 mm pile and 1,250 g/m² pile weight, Sacramento Classic is a more substantial choice for anyone looking for a practical carpet with a softer, fuller feel.
Before fitting, acclimatise the carpet in the room and keep the temperature stable at a minimum of 18°C. Inspect all rolls for correct colour, batch, dimensions and condition before cutting. Do not mix rolls from different batches where avoidable.
Prepare the subfloor so it is dry, smooth, clean and structurally sound. Remove dust, grease, paint, loose debris and old adhesive residues, and repair any uneven or unstable areas before installation. Ensure moisture issues are resolved before fitting.
Sacramento Classic has a secondary backing and is suitable for stretch fitting over a compatible carpet underlay with gripper around the room perimeter. Select the underlay and gripper to suit the room and expected use, then stretch the carpet evenly to secure it and prevent ripples.
Plan and seal all carpet joins using a suitable seaming method. Trim accurately around walls, door frames and fixed items, then finish thresholds with appropriate door bars. The range is suitable for compatible underfloor-heating systems; turn the heating off for 48 hours before and after installation, and keep the finished floor surface below 27°C.

Vacuum Condor Sacramento Classic Carpet frequently to remove dry dirt and grit from the cut pile. Use entrance matting at external doors and give higher-traffic areas, such as hallways and family spaces, additional attention.
Blot spills immediately with a clean white cloth or towel. Do not scrub the surface, as this can spread the mark and flatten the pile. If required, use a carpet cleaner suitable for polypropylene carpet, following the cleaner manufacturer’s directions.
For a refreshed appearance over time, arrange periodic professional cleaning. Use furniture pads to reduce pressure marks and lift heavy furniture when moving it across the carpet.
