Polyflor Designatex PUR is a loose-lay acoustic luxury vinyl sheet flooring. Store the roll upright in a dry indoor area, then allow the material to acclimatise in the room before cutting and fitting.
The subfloor must be clean, dry, smooth, firm and free from defects. Repair cracks, hollows and uneven areas before installation, as these may show through the finished floor. Check moisture conditions and complete any necessary subfloor preparation before fitting.
Plan the sheet direction and positioning before cutting, allowing sufficient material for trimming at walls and doorways. Lay the sheet flat without tension, wrinkles or trapped debris, and follow the recommended fixing method for the room size, use and site conditions.
Finish thresholds and edges with suitable trims, and keep heavy furniture off the new floor until the installation is complete.

Keep Designatex PUR cushion vinyl clear of dust and grit by sweeping or vacuuming regularly with a hard-floor attachment. Grit can act as an abrasive over time, especially in entrance areas and busy family spaces.
For routine cleaning, use a clean damp mop and a neutral vinyl-floor cleaner diluted as directed. Remove spills promptly, collect excess water after mopping and allow the floor to dry fully. Avoid abrasive pads, solvent cleaners and harsh chemicals.
Use barrier mats at entrances to reduce tracked-in dirt and moisture, avoiding rubber-backed mats that may discolour vinyl. Protective pads under furniture legs and cups beneath heavy items will help guard against scratches and indentations.
