CFS Eternity SPC Acoustic Cliq Herringbone gives you the character of a traditional parquet floor with the convenience of a modern click-fit vinyl system. The herringbone layout adds detail and movement to a room, making it a strong option for interiors where the floor is intended to be part of the design rather than simply a background surface.
The rigid SPC construction is paired with a 1 mm IXPE acoustic backing, helping reduce impact noise by 19 dB. This makes it particularly useful in apartments, upper-floor rooms and multi-occupancy properties where a quieter floor is a priority.
With its 5G locking mechanism, the planks click together without the need for adhesive. The floor is 5.5 mm thick, has a 0.3 mm wear layer and is rated for light-commercial use, offering a practical combination of visual appeal, sound reduction and straightforward installation.
Allow unopened packs to acclimatise in the installation room before fitting. The subfloor must be dry, clean, smooth and structurally sound. Correct uneven areas and check moisture conditions before installation; use a suitable moisture barrier where required by the subfloor and project conditions.
CFS Eternity SPC Acoustic Cliq Herringbone is a floating click system with a built-in 1mm IXPE acoustic backing. Do not add a separate soft underlay beneath it unless the full flooring system has been specifically approved.
Plan the herringbone layout before locking planks together, establishing a straight starting line and checking the direction of the pattern. Follow the designated click sequence and any left- and right-hand plank requirements supplied with the flooring. Keep the required expansion gap around walls, pipe penetrations, door frames and fixed items.
Click planks together without forcing the locking edges. Stagger and trim the layout carefully to maintain a balanced pattern at the perimeter. Finish the expansion gaps with suitable trims or skirting without pinning the floating floor, and use transition profiles at doorways and changes of floor finish.

Sweep or vacuum CFS Eternity SPC Acoustic Cliq Herringbone regularly to remove dry dirt and grit. Clean with a well-wrung damp mop and a neutral cleaner suitable for vinyl flooring, wiping up spills promptly.
Avoid steam cleaners, abrasive pads, waxes, solvents and harsh chemical products. Use protective pads beneath furniture and lift heavy items rather than dragging them across the floor.
Use entrance matting to limit dirt being carried indoors, provided the backing is suitable for vinyl floors. Check the floor periodically for damage around doorways and other high-traffic areas.
