Colonia Stone should be fitted to a clean, dry, level subfloor with a suitable adhesive. As a glue-down floor, careful subfloor preparation makes a real difference to the final appearance and helps achieve clean, even tile joints. Polyflor Colonia Stone LVT offers the character of slate, limestone and concrete in a softer, more practical vinyl tile. The stone-effect designs work especially well in kitchens, dining areas and hallways, giving a room a structured tile appearance without the cold feel or demanding upkeep of natural stone.
This is a glue-down LVT range for residential interiors. Each tile has a 2mm construction with a 0.2mm wear layer and a PUR surface finish, giving the floor a durable, easy-care surface for normal home use.
Selected designs are available in rectangular or square tile formats, allowing the layout to complement the chosen look. Coordinating inlay accessories can also be used where a more individual floor design is required.
Polyflor Colonia Stone is a glue-down LVT tile floorcovering. Allow the tiles, adhesive and subfloor to acclimatise in the installation room before fitting, keeping packs flat and protected from damage.
The subfloor must be dry, clean, smooth, level and structurally sound. Carry out moisture testing and complete any required damp-proofing, smoothing or repair work before installation. Subfloor imperfections can be visible through the completed LVT floor.
Plan the tile layout in advance, checking perimeter cuts and selecting the intended pattern, such as straight lay or brickwork. Apply a compatible adhesive in line with its instructions, place tiles within the adhesive’s working time and roll the floor thoroughly to ensure an even bond.
Protect the newly fitted floor from heavy traffic until the adhesive has cured.

Keep Colonia Stone LVT free from loose debris by sweeping or vacuuming regularly with a suitable hard-floor attachment. Grit and small particles can gradually dull the surface, particularly around entrances and busy kitchen or hallway areas.
For routine cleaning, use a well-wrung damp mop with a neutral cleaner suitable for vinyl flooring. Wipe up spills promptly and avoid abrasive pads, solvent-based products, harsh chemicals and steam cleaners.
Use entrance mats to limit tracked-in moisture and dirt, and fit protective pads beneath furniture legs. Lift heavy appliances or furniture when moving them, rather than dragging them across the tiles.
