The subfloor should be clean, dry, smooth and structurally sound; lay the laminate over a suitable underlay and keep the required expansion space around walls, door frames and fixed fittings. Follow the supplied fitting instructions throughout installation.
Vanguard Arden Living 8mm Laminate is a practical wood-effect flooring range for homes and general commercial interiors. Its 8mm board construction provides a more substantial feel than thinner laminate options, while the natural oak-inspired colour choices make it easy to create a clean, welcoming finish.
Rated Class 32 for general-commercial use, Arden Living 8mm is suited to busy domestic rooms as well as lighter commercial spaces. Each pack contains eight planks and covers 1.99m², helping make quantity planning simple for renovation and new-floor projects.
Prepare the subfloor so it is clean, dry, sound, level and free from dust, debris and other irregularities before installation. Install a suitable laminate underlay, such as Vanguard Wood2Go Universal 3mm Barrier Foam Underlay or Vanguard Astro-Foam White Underlay, and install the flooring as a floating floor in accordance with the manufacturer’s fitting instructions. Allow the flooring to acclimatise as recommended, maintain appropriate expansion gaps around walls and fixed objects, and stagger end joints between rows for a stable installation. Vanguard Arden Living is 8mm thick, with 1292 × 193mm planks and 8 planks per box, covering approximately 1.99m² per box. Vanguard Arden Living 8mm Laminate is designed for domestic and medium commercial use and requires regular cleaning to maintain its appearance and performance. Sweep or vacuum regularly to remove dust and loose dirt, then clean with a lightly damp, well-wrung mop and a suitable laminate floor cleaner. Avoid excessive water, steam cleaning and abrasive cleaning products, and wipe up spills promptly. Use protective pads beneath furniture and avoid dragging heavy or sharp objects across the surface.
