Leave the required expansion gap around walls, door frames and fixed objects, and use the correct transition trims between rooms. Always check the latest fitting instructions before installation.
Kronospan Art 12mm Laminate is a robust wood-effect floor designed to give rooms the look of natural timber with the practicality of a modern click-fit laminate. The 12 mm board adds a reassuringly solid feel underfoot, while the four-sided V-groove helps define each plank for a more realistic finished appearance.
With an AC4 wear rating and Class 23/32 classification, this range is built for busy homes and lighter commercial settings. It is a good fit for living areas, hallways, dining rooms and bedrooms where you want a durable floor that is easy to maintain and straightforward to install.
Kronospan Art 12mm is a click-fit laminate flooring range with 1285mm x 192mm planks, an AC4/Class 32 performance rating and a four-sided bevelled edge. It is installed as a floating floor over a suitable underlay and prepared subfloor.
Store unopened packs flat in the installation room and allow them to acclimatise before fitting. The subfloor must be dry, level, clean and structurally sound. On mineral subfloors, use a suitable vapour barrier where required by the underlay and flooring specification.
Lay the appropriate laminate underlay with neatly butted joints, then install the planks using the 1clic 2go pure locking system. Stagger end joints between rows, follow the supplied fitting instructions and check that every joint is fully engaged.
Maintain the specified expansion gap around walls, pipes, door frames and fixed objects. Do not fix the laminate through to the subfloor or trap it beneath heavy fitted units. Finish the perimeter with suitable scotia, skirting or transition trims without restricting the floor’s natural movement.

Keep Kronospan Art 12mm Laminate clean by vacuuming with a hard-floor setting or sweeping with a soft brush. Wipe marks and spills away promptly with a lightly damp, well-wrung microfibre mop, then dry the surface if necessary.
Do not wet-mop the floor, use steam cleaners or allow standing water to remain on the joints. Use entrance mats to reduce grit, fit felt pads beneath furniture and lift heavy items rather than dragging them across the surface. Avoid abrasive powders, waxes and polish products.
