Prepare the subfloor so it is clean, dry, stable and free from dust, grease and loose material. Prime the substrate where required, mix the compound with clean water at the stated ratio, then spread it evenly using suitable flooring tools. Drying times will vary with thickness, temperature, humidity and site conditions.
UZIN NC 151 is a heavy-duty, cement-based smoothing compound for preparing internal floors before the final covering is fitted. It is designed to produce a smooth, durable surface on both absorbent and non-absorbent substrates, helping create a reliable base in demanding residential, commercial and industrial environments.
The compound offers strong flow and a high-quality finish, making it suitable beneath textile, resilient and wood floor coverings. It can be applied from feather edge to 20mm and dries quickly, allowing most floor finishes to be installed after approximately six hours in suitable site conditions.
UZIN NC 151 is a cement-based, heavy-duty smoothing compound for internal residential, commercial and industrial floors. It is designed to create a smooth base for textile, resilient and wood floorcoverings on suitable absorbent and non-absorbent substrates.
Prepare the subfloor so it is structurally sound, clean, dry and free from dust, laitance, grease, loose material and other contaminants. Assess the substrate and use the correct UZIN primer or moisture-control treatment for the floor construction before applying the compound.
Mix the powder with clean water in the proportions stated in the current UZIN technical data sheet until smooth and lump-free. Pour and spread the material evenly, allowing it to flow before refining the finish with suitable smoothing tools. It may be applied from a feather edge up to 20mm and can be pump applied where appropriate.
Under normal conditions, NC 151 is ready to receive most floorcoverings after approximately six hours, whether applied over absorbent or non-absorbent surfaces. Drying times vary with thickness and site conditions. Refer to the UZIN NC 151 product information before installation.

UZIN NC 151 is a smoothing layer, not a finished wearing surface. Once cured, keep it clean, dry and protected from dust, moisture, damage and unnecessary traffic until the final floorcovering is installed.
Before applying adhesive or fitting the floor, remove loose debris and inspect the surface for a smooth, sound finish. The ongoing maintenance requirements will be those of the completed floorcovering.
