The subfloor should be smooth, dry, sound and free from dust, grease and loose material. Spread the adhesive evenly using a suitable trowel and fit the floor covering while the adhesive remains within its working time. Finish by pressing or rolling the floor covering firmly into the adhesive, following the floor-covering manufacturer’s installation guidance.
STYCCOBOND F44 is a solvent-free acrylic adhesive for installing compatible vinyl floor coverings. It combines strong initial grab with high final bond strength, helping create a durable finish across larger sheet and tile installations.
Its long working time gives installers more flexibility when positioning flooring over prepared subfloors. The 15-litre pack is well suited to commercial areas and larger domestic projects where a reliable wet-lay vinyl adhesive is required.
STYCCOBOND F44 15L is a solvent-free acrylic adhesive for compatible vinyl sheet and tile flooring. It can also be used with suitable rubber floorcoverings and selected PVC- or polyurethane-foam-backed textile floorcoverings.
The subfloor must be sound, smooth, dry and free from dust, grease, loose material and contaminants. Prepare uneven surfaces with a compatible smoothing compound and confirm adhesive compatibility with the specific floorcovering before work begins.
Spread the adhesive evenly using a 1.5mm x 5mm notched trowel. Lay the floorcovering within the working time, ensuring good contact throughout and removing trapped air as installation progresses. Roll the fitted surface as required by the floorcovering manufacturer.
At 20°C, STYCCOBOND F44 has an open time of up to 60 minutes, depending on site conditions and substrate absorbency. Typical coverage is approximately 4m² per litre using the recommended trowel.

Remove uncured STYCCOBOND F44 from tools and surrounding surfaces promptly, following the manufacturer’s guidance. Protect the newly laid floor from traffic, furniture movement and wet cleaning until the adhesive has developed a secure bond.
Once the installation is complete, follow the cleaning and maintenance advice for the selected vinyl, rubber or textile floorcovering. Use appropriate cleaning products and avoid excessive moisture at seams, edges and transitions.
