Ensure the wall and finished floor are clean, dry and smooth before installation. Trim the skirting carefully to suit the run and use a fixing method approved by Quantum for coiled PVC accessories. For the best appearance on longer sections, plan joins and corners before fitting.
Quantum Q100 SOC is a flexible sit-on skirting profile supplied in a continuous 32m coil. It is designed to cover and finish the junction between a wall and a resilient floorcovering, creating a practical, tidy perimeter detail without the need for conventional skirting boards.
The coiled format reduces the number of joins required along long wall runs and corridors, helping to achieve a more streamlined finish. Its 100mm height makes it well suited to commercial interiors where a durable, easy-to-maintain skirting solution is required.
Quantum Q100 SO is a flexible 100mm PVC sit-on skirting supplied in a 32m coil. It is fitted on top of the finished floorcovering to cover the wall-to-floor join, making it well suited to long runs in schools, offices and public buildings.
Store the coil flat and allow the material to relax in the installation environment before fitting. Ensure the wall and finished floor are clean, dry, smooth and free from dust, grease or loose material.
Measure and cut the skirting carefully, allowing for corners and junctions. Before installation, bend the profile’s foot so it sits parallel with the floor. Apply a compatible contact adhesive as directed, then press the skirting firmly into position without stretching or creating gaps.
Keep the area protected until the adhesive has cured.

Avoid abrasive pads, strong solvents and sharp tools that could mark the PVC profile. During routine maintenance, check that the skirting remains securely bonded and that no dirt has built up along its lower edge.
Promptly repair any damaged or lifted sections to maintain a neat, easily cleaned perimeter finish.
