Fit CFS Stockade Charcoal onto a clean, dry and level subfloor with a suitable adhesive. Plan the direction of the linear pattern before cutting and fitting the sheet. Regular vacuuming will help remove loose dirt and maintain a neat, professional finish.
CFS Stockade Entrance Matting in Charcoal offers a clean, contemporary finish for high-traffic entrance areas. The deep charcoal shade is easy to coordinate with modern interiors and is a practical option for lobbies, office doorways, receptions and shared access spaces.
Its structured linear fibre-bonded surface is made from 100% polypropylene and designed for heavy commercial use. The gel rubber backing provides a stable base once installed, while the 2 metre-wide sheet format creates a smooth, continuous finish across wider entrance areas.
With a Class 33 heavy commercial rating, Stockade Charcoal is made to cope with frequent daily footfall. It helps provide a practical first layer at the entrance while keeping the space looking smart and well maintained.
Allow the Charcoal 3923 sheet to acclimatise in the room before installation. The subfloor must be dry, smooth, clean and sound, with all dirt, grease, paint, wax, loose material and prior adhesive residues removed. Make good any defects before laying the 2m-wide matting.
Inspect the sheet for correct colour, condition and dimensions before making cuts. Set out its position in advance and trim carefully around walls, door frames and fixed features. Keep the matting relaxed and flat rather than stretching it into place.
Use a compatible adhesive system for gel-backed entrance matting and the prepared subfloor. Apply adhesive uniformly, observe the recommended open and working times, then lay the sheet accurately. Roll it after fitting in accordance with the adhesive guidance to obtain a complete, even bond without bubbles or ripples.
Use suitable edge or transition trims where the matting ends against another floor finish. Keep heavy footfall and movable loads off the installation until the adhesive has cured fully.

Keep CFS Stockade Entrance Matting in Charcoal clear of collected debris with frequent vacuuming. Concentrate on the principal walking route and the area directly inside external doors, where grit and moisture build up most quickly.
Absorb spills promptly with a clean cloth or paper towel. If any marking remains, use a polypropylene-compatible entrance-matting cleaner as directed. Do not scrub aggressively, over-wet the sheet or use bleach, solvents or steam-cleaning equipment.
Plan deeper cleaning for consistently busy entrances and inspect the material at the same time. Check that perimeter edges and floor transitions remain flat, firmly bonded and free from wear that could create a trip risk.
