Vanguard Cozitex is a felt-backed cushion vinyl designed for practical, everyday rooms. Its 2.6mm construction provides a comfortable surface underfoot, while the felt backing makes it a useful option for suitable subfloors with minor surface imperfections.
The range combines a 0.25mm wear layer with Class 23 heavy-domestic performance, making it suited to busy homes. With R10 slip resistance, 16dB impact-sound reduction and a choice of wood, ceramic, stone and parquet-inspired designs, Cozitex offers a flexible finish for a wide variety of interiors.
Ensure the subfloor is clean, dry, sound, smooth and suitably prepared before installation, removing dust, grease and any loose material. Vanguard Cozitex has a felt backing and should be accurately measured, cut and installed by a competent flooring professional using a suitable installation method and compatible adhesive where required. Ensure seams and edges are properly secured and the vinyl is installed without creases, trapped air or excessive tension. The flooring is 2.6mm thick with a 0.25mm wear layer, 16dB impact-noise reduction and R11 slip resistance. It is available in 2m, 3m and 4m widths and is suitable for underfloor heating when installed in accordance with the relevant requirements. Always follow the latest manufacturer’s installation guidance before fitting.

Vanguard Cozitex Vinyl is a durable, hygienic and easy-to-clean cushion vinyl designed for heavy domestic use. Sweep or vacuum regularly to remove dust and loose dirt, then clean with a lightly damp mop using a suitable vinyl floor cleaning product. Wipe up spills promptly and avoid abrasive cleaners, excessive water, steam cleaning and sharp objects that could damage the surface or wear layer. Use suitable protective pads beneath furniture and avoid dragging heavy items across the floor.
