Ensure the subfloor is smooth, dry, sound and free from dust, grease and loose material. Spread the adhesive evenly with the trowel specified for the floor covering, then allow it to dry to a clear tacky film before fitting. Press or roll the flooring thoroughly to achieve full contact.
STYCCOBOND F46 is a solvent-free, pressure-sensitive adhesive for compatible PVC sheet and tile floor coverings, including LVT. It dries to a permanently tacky film, providing strong initial grab and a durable bond while helping reduce the visibility of trowel lines beneath thin vinyl.
The 15-litre pack is suited to larger installation projects. Its long working window gives fitters flexibility after the adhesive has dried, making it particularly useful for design-led vinyl floors that require accurate positioning.
STYCCOBOND F46 15L is a solvent-free, pressure-sensitive vinyl adhesive for compatible PVC sheet and tile floorcoverings, including many design floors and LVTs. It is designed to dry to a permanently tacky film, helping reduce the risk of trowel marks showing through thinner vinyl finishes.
Prepare the subfloor so it is smooth, dry, structurally sound and free from dust, grease, loose material and contaminants. Compatible substrates include suitable smoothing compounds, concrete, screeds, plywood, flooring-grade chipboard and hardboard. Confirm the flooring manufacturer’s adhesive recommendation before starting.
Apply the adhesive evenly using the trowel selected for the floorcovering, then allow it to dry to its tacky film before laying the flooring. Position each piece accurately and apply firm pressure or roll the floor as appropriate to secure consistent contact.
At 20°C, drying typically takes around 40 minutes. Once dry, the adhesive has an infinite open time; coverage ranges from approximately 3m² to 5m² per litre depending on the trowel used.

STYCCOBOND F46 forms a permanently tacky bond beneath compatible vinyl flooring. Protect the fitted surface from heavy traffic, furniture movement and wet cleaning until the adhesive film has bonded properly to the floorcovering.
After installation, follow the care guidance supplied for the vinyl or LVT product. Clean with suitable products, deal with spills promptly and avoid excessive water at joins, edges and thresholds.
