Fit onto a clean, dry and level subfloor using a suitable adhesive. Before fitting, plan the direction of the structured pattern and cut carefully to suit the entrance layout. Vacuum regularly to remove loose dirt and keep the matting looking fresh.
CFS New Drever Entrance Matting in Natural brings a lighter, warmer look to busy entrances without compromising on durability. Its soft neutral tone works well in welcoming spaces such as hotels, schools, receptions and retail environments, where the entrance needs to feel both practical and inviting.
The structured fibre-bonded surface is made from 100% polypropylene and designed for heavy commercial footfall. Its chevron-style texture adds a little visual interest while giving the matting a hard-wearing finish suited to daily use. The gel rubber backing provides stability once fitted, and the 2 metre-wide sheet format is ideal for creating a continuous surface across larger doorways and foyer areas.
New Drever Natural is a good choice when a darker entrance matting colour feels too heavy for the space. It offers a clean, balanced appearance with the commercial performance needed for regularly used interior entrances.
Acclimatise the Natural 0226 matting in the installation area prior to fitting. Ensure the subfloor is dry, level, smooth, clean and structurally sound. All grease, dust, paint, wax, loose debris and residues from previous flooring must be removed, and any surface irregularities should be repaired.
Check the sheet carefully before cutting and position the 2m-wide material to achieve a neat, balanced fit. Measure twice before trimming around door frames, walls and fixed items. Do not stretch the matting or install it while it is under tension.
Bond the gel-backed sheet using an adhesive compatible with the backing and the prepared subfloor. Apply it evenly, adhere to the adhesive manufacturer’s recommended coverage and timing, then lay the material into place and roll it to achieve a complete, stable bond.
Use suitable finishing profiles at exposed borders and floor transitions. Protect the completed installation from heavy traffic until the adhesive has fully cured.

Regular vacuuming will keep CFS New Drever Entrance Matting in Natural clear of the dust, grit and loose debris it collects from incoming foot traffic. Clean more frequently around external doors and other busy access points, especially during rainy periods.
Blot spills without delay with a clean absorbent cloth. If further cleaning is needed, use a product formulated for polypropylene entrance matting and do not apply more moisture than necessary. Avoid abrasive equipment, steam cleaners, bleach and solvent-based products.
For heavily used entrances, arrange scheduled deep cleaning to remove compacted soil. Inspect the matting after maintenance and address any worn, lifted or damaged edge detail as soon as it is identified.
