Install CFS New Drever on a clean, dry and level subfloor using a suitable adhesive. Take time to plan the layout and direction of the structured pattern before cutting. Regular vacuuming will remove loose dirt and help the matting continue to perform well in busy entrance areas.
CFS New Drever Entrance Matting in Brown is built for busy entrances that need a durable surface and a warmer, more traditional look. Its structured chevron-style design adds texture at the doorway, helping the area feel considered rather than purely functional.
Made from 100% polypropylene, this heavy commercial matting has a dense fibre-bonded surface suited to regular foot traffic. The gel rubber backing provides a stable base once installed, while the 2 metre-wide sheet format gives a continuous, professional finish across larger entrances, foyers and reception areas.
The Brown colourway is particularly useful in spaces where a darker, earthy tone is preferred. It works well in offices, hospitality settings, retail spaces and public buildings, offering a practical entrance solution with a more welcoming appearance.
Acclimatise the 2m-wide CFS New Drever sheet in the installation area before fitting. The subfloor must be dry, clean, smooth and structurally sound. Remove dust, grease, paint, wax, loose debris and old adhesive, then level or repair any imperfections before the matting is laid.
Check the Brown 0300 sheet for the correct colour, dimensions and condition before cutting. Plan the layout to minimise joins where possible and make careful cuts around walls, entrance frames and fixed features. Keep the material relaxed and flat, without stretching it into position.
Fully bond the gel-backed entrance matting with an adhesive that is compatible with both the backing and the prepared subfloor. Follow the adhesive manufacturer’s instructions for application rate, open time, working time and cure. Roll the sheet after fitting to remove trapped air and establish a consistent bond across the full surface.
Finish exposed edges with suitable transition or edge profiles. Do not allow heavy traffic on the newly fitted matting until the adhesive has fully cured.

Vacuum CFS New Drever Entrance Matting in Brown regularly to remove dirt, grit and moisture carried in from outside. In heavy-use entrances, a daily routine will help the 9mm fibre-bonded pile remain effective and protect the flooring beyond the doorway.
Blot spills promptly with a clean, absorbent cloth. For remaining marks, use a cleaner that is suitable for polypropylene entrance matting and apply it sparingly. Do not use abrasive brushes, bleach, solvents or excessive water, as these can affect the surface and gel backing.
Schedule periodic deeper cleaning when regular vacuuming is no longer enough to lift embedded soil. Inspect the matting and its perimeter details at the same time, dealing with any wear or lifting before it becomes a safety concern.
