CFS Citywalk Tile is a hard-wearing commercial carpet tile with a clean, modern feel. Its subtle linear texture gives the floor depth without making the room look busy, making it an easy fit for professional interiors that need to stay practical as well as presentable.
The tile is made from 100% solution-dyed nylon and finished with INVISTA anti-soil treatment, helping it stand up to the scuffs, footfall and day-to-day use found in busy environments. The loop-pile construction feels neat underfoot, while the bitumen backing provides a stable base for installation.
Supplied as classic 50 cm x 50 cm tiles, Citywalk is simple to plan, fit and maintain. It works well across larger open areas, corridors and workspaces, and individual tiles can be replaced if one section becomes damaged or heavily marked.
Allow the tiles to acclimatise within the installation area before fitting. The subfloor must be dry, smooth, clean and sound, with surface irregularities, loose material and contaminants removed before work begins.
Set out the room accurately to achieve balanced cuts around the perimeter. Decide on the required installation direction before applying adhesive, and keep it consistent throughout the floor so the pile and pattern present evenly.
Use a carpet-tile adhesive or tackifier suitable for bitumen-backed tiles and the project conditions. Apply it evenly, allow the required tack time, then position each 500mm x 500mm tile accurately. Ensure tiles meet snugly edge to edge without overlap, gaps or excessive pressure.
Cut tiles carefully at walls, door frames and service points, then finish exposed edges with suitable trim profiles. Retain matching spare tiles for future maintenance.

Vacuum CFS Citywalk Tile regularly to lift dry soil from the textured nylon pile. Concentrate routine cleaning around entrances, walkways and communal areas, where grit can build up quickly. Good entrance matting will help reduce wear and maintain the floor’s appearance.
For spills, blot immediately using a clean white cloth. Avoid scrubbing or soaking the tiles. Use a carpet cleaner approved for solution-dyed nylon and test it first in an unobtrusive location or on a spare tile.
Plan periodic professional cleaning in accordance with the level of traffic. Keep a small quantity of unused tiles from the same batch for later replacements if individual tiles become damaged or permanently stained.
