CFS Compilation Plus Tile is a dense, cut-pile carpet tile made for commercial spaces that need a more refined, comfortable finish. The surface has a soft Saxony-style appearance, giving offices, healthcare settings and reception areas a warmer feel than a standard loop-pile tile.
Despite its softer look, this is a serious commercial product. The 100% nylon pile, high tuft density and Class 33 heavy-commercial rating make it well suited to areas that see regular traffic. Its 50 cm x 50 cm format also keeps installation straightforward and makes it easier to replace a tile if a localised area becomes marked or damaged.
Compilation Plus is available in a selection of understated contemporary colours, from neutral greys and natural tones to deeper accent shades. It is a good choice where the flooring needs to look smart for clients and visitors while remaining practical for everyday use.
Acclimatise the tiles in the room before installation. The subfloor must be clean, dry, smooth and structurally sound, with defects, unevenness and contaminants dealt with before fitting begins.
Plan the layout carefully from suitable setting-out lines to achieve balanced perimeter cuts. Check tile direction and batch consistency before installation, then keep the pile orientation uniform across the floor unless a specific design layout has been agreed.
Use a carpet-tile adhesive or tackifier compatible with the supplied backing, the subfloor and the intended service conditions. Apply it evenly and allow it to reach the required tack. Fit each 500mm x 500mm tile accurately edge to edge, without gaps, overlap or undue force.
Trim perimeter tiles neatly around walls, door frames and fixed objects. Complete exposed edges using appropriate trim profiles, and retain matching spare tiles for future maintenance.

Vacuum CFS Compilation Plus Tile regularly to remove dry soil and help preserve the appearance of its cut-pile surface. Use suitable entrance matting and increase cleaning frequency in areas exposed to heavy footfall, wheeled traffic or outside contamination.
Attend to spills promptly by blotting with a clean, white absorbent cloth. Avoid rubbing or oversaturating the tiles. Use a carpet-cleaning product suitable for nylon carpet tiles, testing it first on a spare tile or an inconspicuous area.
Use scheduled professional cleaning where the building’s traffic levels require it. Retain spare tiles from the same batch so individual sections can be replaced if they become damaged or heavily marked.
