CFS Citywalk Plank Carpet Tiles bring a smart, contemporary look to commercial interiors. The long plank format creates more freedom with the floor layout, allowing you to keep things simple or introduce a more distinctive pattern such as herringbone, ashlar or random plank.
The loop-pile surface has a subtle linear finish that works particularly well in modern offices, hospitality settings and shared public areas. Made from 100% solution-dyed nylon, Citywalk is built for regular commercial traffic while the INVISTA anti-soil treatment helps the carpet retain its appearance between cleaning cycles.
Each plank measures 25 cm x 100 cm, making it easy to create direction, define walkways or visually separate different zones in an open space. With a Class 33 heavy-commercial rating, 23 dB impact sound insulation and a 20-year warranty, it is a reliable option for projects where appearance and everyday performance both matter.
Acclimatise the planks in the installation environment before fitting. The subfloor must be dry, level, clean and sound, with all cracks, ridges, loose material and contamination removed or repaired beforehand.
Plan the layout before adhesive is applied. The 250mm x 1000mm plank format can be installed in a linear, staggered or herringbone-style arrangement, but the chosen layout should be set out accurately and maintained consistently across the room.
Use an approved carpet-tile tackifier or adhesive system suited to the bitumen backing, subfloor and expected traffic conditions. Apply it evenly and allow the correct tack time. Install each plank tightly edge to edge without forcing or overlapping, then press it firmly into place.
Cut perimeter planks carefully at walls, door frames and fixed elements. Complete exposed edges with suitable trims, and retain planks from the same batch for future repairs or alterations.

Vacuum CFS Citywalk Plank Carpet Tiles routinely, concentrating on entrances and circulation routes where dry soil builds up most quickly. The solution-dyed nylon pile includes an anti-soil treatment, but regular removal of grit is still essential to protect the surface over time.
Blot liquid spills immediately with a clean, white cloth. Avoid rubbing, as this can spread the spill and affect the appearance of the textured pile. Use a carpet cleaner suitable for solution-dyed nylon, following the manufacturer’s instructions and testing first on a spare plank.
Use a professional maintenance programme for heavily used commercial areas. Keep spare planks from the same batch so damaged sections can be replaced cleanly in the future.
