Before fitting, ensure the subfloor is dry, clean, level and structurally sound. Allow the flooring to acclimatise in the room, then install according to Polyflor’s current guidance, leaving the required expansion space around walls, door frames and fixed objects. Do not install a separate underlay unless Polyflor specifically approves it, as Camaro Rigid Core already includes an integral acoustic layer.
Polyflor Camaro Rigid Core is an interlocking LVT collection that combines the natural look of wood, stone and terrazzo with a hard-wearing SPC core. It is designed for straightforward floating installation, using Valinge 5G press-fit technology to create a secure, click-together floor without adhesive.
The built-in 1mm IXPE acoustic layer adds comfort underfoot and helps reduce impact sound by 18dB. With a waterproof construction and a broad choice of plank, herringbone and tile formats, Camaro Rigid Core is a versatile solution for modern homes and light commercial spaces.
The collection includes 30 design options, from classic oak and contemporary herringbone to concrete, slate and terrazzo effects.
Camaro Rigid Core is an interlocking SPC luxury vinyl floor with an integral 1mm IXPE acoustic layer. It is designed as a floating floor, so a separate underlay is not normally required or recommended unless Polyflor specifically confirms compatibility.
Before fitting, allow unopened packs to acclimatise in the installation area. The subfloor must be dry, clean, firm and sufficiently level; repair high spots, hollows and loose areas before starting. Check moisture conditions and follow the appropriate preparation method for the type of subfloor.
Plan the layout before clicking the planks or tiles together, mixing material from different packs where necessary for a balanced natural appearance. Maintain the required expansion gap at walls, door frames, pipes and fixed fittings, and use suitable transition profiles across larger areas or doorways where specified.
Do not subject the new floor to heavy furniture or unnecessary traffic until installation is complete and all finishing trims are in place

Keep Camaro Rigid Core looking its best by removing loose dirt and grit regularly with a soft brush or vacuum cleaner fitted with a hard-floor attachment. Dirt brought in from outside is one of the main causes of premature surface wear, so use good-quality entrance mats at external doors.
Clean the floor with a damp mop and a suitable neutral vinyl-floor cleaner. Wipe up spills promptly and avoid abrasive pads, steam cleaners, solvent-based products and harsh chemicals, as these can affect the finished surface.
Fit protective pads beneath furniture feet and take care when moving heavy items. Regular, light cleaning is usually the most effective way to maintain the PUR-finished surface.
