CFS Elements Ultra Vinyl is a cushioned sheet vinyl floor that brings together everyday comfort, strong slip resistance and realistic wood or stone-effect designs. Its felt backing gives it a softer feel underfoot than a standard compact vinyl, making rooms feel more comfortable while helping reduce impact noise.
With an R11 slip-resistance rating, Elements Ultra is a good choice for spaces where extra grip matters. It is rated for heavy domestic and general-commercial use, so it works well in busy homes as well as lighter commercial settings such as offices, communal areas and small hospitality spaces.
The 2.8 mm construction includes a 0.4 mm wear layer and offers 18 dB impact-noise reduction. Available in 2 m, 3 m and 4 m widths, it allows for a practical installation with fewer joins across larger rooms.
Allow the sheet to acclimatise in the installation room before fitting. The subfloor should be dry, clean, smooth and stable, with any cracks, raised areas or surface imperfections repaired first.
Plan the sheet layout and check seam positions, pattern direction and doorway transitions before cutting. CFS Elements Ultra has a felt backing and may be loose laid in areas up to 40m² where the room layout and site conditions are suitable. For larger areas, complex rooms or locations subject to heavier use, use a compatible adhesive system in line with current flooring guidance.
If loose laying, ensure the sheet sits flat and is properly secured at perimeters, doorways and any other areas specified by the installation method. If bonding, apply adhesive evenly, observe the correct open time and roll the flooring thoroughly to ensure full contact with the subfloor.
Trim accurately at walls and fixed features, and use appropriate sealing or edge-finishing details in bathrooms and other areas exposed to moisture. Finish thresholds with suitable vinyl trims and check that the completed floor is smooth, secure and free from trapped air.

Sweep or vacuum CFS Elements Ultra regularly to remove loose dirt and grit, then clean with a damp mop and a neutral cleaner made for vinyl flooring. Wipe spills promptly and dry the area afterwards, particularly near joints, doorways and room edges.
Avoid abrasive pads, steam cleaners, solvent-based products and harsh alkaline cleaners. These can damage the surface, affect the slip-resistant finish or dull the printed design. Use protective feet beneath furniture and avoid dragging heavy items across the floor.
In busy spaces, use suitable entrance matting and follow a regular cleaning routine. Ensure the mat backing is compatible with vinyl to prevent staining or discolouration.
