Allow the Grey 0901 matting to settle in the installation room before work begins. The 2m-wide sheet requires a dry, clean, smooth and stable subfloor. Remove dirt, grease, paint, old adhesives, wax and loose material, then repair or level the base wherever necessary.
Check the supplied matting before cutting to confirm its condition, dimensions and colour. Set out the sheet carefully, allowing for tidy cuts at doorways, walls and fixed features. Keep it flat and free from tension before applying adhesive.
Fully adhere the gel-backed material using an adhesive that is suitable for the backing, the subfloor and the expected traffic conditions. Follow the adhesive manufacturer’s application and timing instructions closely, then roll the installed sheet to ensure full contact and prevent trapped air.
Protect open edges with suitable trim profiles. Do not put the entrance into service until the adhesive has reached its specified full cure.
