CFS Constellation Tile is a dependable loop-pile carpet tile for busy commercial spaces. Its clean, structured surface has a modern appearance that works easily with a wide range of interiors, from calm neutral schemes to more colour-led workplace designs.
Made from 100% solution-dyed nylon, Constellation is designed to cope with regular traffic while retaining a tidy appearance. The compact loop pile and bitumen backing provide a firm, stable finish, and the tile is rated Class 33 for heavy commercial use.
Available in 15 colours, the range gives plenty of scope to keep a scheme understated or introduce stronger accents where required. Its 50 cm x 50 cm format also makes it practical for larger installations, with individual tiles able to be replaced if an area receives accidental damage or excessive wear.
Acclimatise the tiles in the installation area before fitting. The subfloor must be clean, dry, smooth and sound, with any unevenness, contamination or loose material corrected in advance.
Set out the installation from appropriate datum lines, allowing balanced cuts around the room perimeter. Confirm the intended tile direction before fitting and maintain it consistently throughout the floor.
Use a suitable carpet-tile tackifier or adhesive compatible with bitumen backing, the subfloor and the anticipated traffic levels. Apply it evenly, observe the required tack time, then place each 500mm x 500mm tile tightly edge to edge. Do not overlap joints or force tiles into position.
Trim tiles carefully around walls, columns, door frames and service points. Complete exposed edges with suitable profiles, and retain tiles from the same batch for any future maintenance work.

Vacuum CFS Constellation Tile frequently to remove dry soil from the loop-pile surface. Areas subject to heavier traffic should be cleaned more often, with entrance matting used to reduce dirt and moisture being carried onto the floor.
Blot spills promptly with a clean, absorbent cloth. Avoid rubbing or excessive wet cleaning, as this can spread the stain and alter the pile appearance. Use a cleaning product suitable for solution-dyed nylon carpet tiles, testing it on a spare tile before wider use.
Use a planned professional cleaning programme where required by the building’s use. Keep spare tiles from the same batch to allow individual damaged tiles to be replaced without disrupting the complete floor.
