CFS Canvas Tiles are a practical commercial carpet tile with a textured loop-pile finish that gives the floor a little more character than a plain, flat surface. The subtle visible structure helps create interest across larger areas while still looking professional and composed.
Made with a 100% polyamide pile and a stable bitumen backing, Canvas is designed for busy interiors where the floor needs to work hard every day. Its heavy-commercial classification makes it a strong choice for offices, education spaces, retail areas and other shared environments with regular foot traffic.
The 50 cm x 50 cm tile format is easy to handle and suits both new installations and refurbishments. Individual tiles can be lifted and replaced if an area becomes damaged or heavily marked, helping keep disruption and maintenance costs down over time.
Store and acclimatise the tiles in the room where they will be installed. The subfloor must be dry, flat, clean and stable, with all raised defects, cracks and loose material repaired before fitting.
Set out the room carefully before installation. The 500mm x 500mm format should be planned to give balanced perimeter cuts and a consistent appearance. Confirm the intended tile direction before work begins, as Canvas has a visible textured structure that should be aligned consistently across the floor.
Apply a suitable carpet-tile tackifier or adhesive in accordance with the adhesive manufacturer’s instructions. Once it has reached the correct tack, place the tiles accurately edge to edge and press them firmly into position. Do not overlap, force or stretch the tiles.
Trim perimeter pieces carefully at walls, door frames and fixed objects, then finish exposed edges with appropriate trims. Retain matching spare tiles for future replacement.

Vacuum CFS Canvas Tiles regularly to remove dry dirt from the structured loop-pile surface. Place effective entrance matting at access points and increase cleaning frequency in busy commercial areas to reduce abrasive grit.
For spills, blot immediately with a clean, white cloth. Do not rub the affected area or flood the tile with water. Use a carpet-cleaning product suitable for polyamide fibres, following the product instructions and testing it on a spare or concealed tile first.
Maintain the floor through a planned cleaning programme suited to the building’s traffic levels. Keep spare tiles from the same production batch so individual damaged sections can be replaced when necessary.
