For a durable, hygienic finish, Classic Mystique PUR should be fitted by an experienced flooring installer onto a clean, dry and level subfloor. Use the correct adhesive and welding method for the project, then follow Polyflor’s current installation and floorcare guidance for the selected colour.
Polyflor Classic Mystique PUR is a hard-wearing homogeneous sheet vinyl floor designed for busy commercial and public interiors. Its softly mottled, non-directional pattern gives the floor visual depth while helping it sit comfortably within practical spaces such as healthcare, education and workplace environments.
The 2mm sheet is adhered to the subfloor to create a durable, hygienic surface with no need for routine polish. With a broad palette of colours available, Classic Mystique PUR can support calm neutral schemes, bolder zoning and coordinated interior finishes.
Made for high-traffic areas, it combines practical day-to-day maintenance with Class 43 industrial performance. The sheet format is supplied in 2m-wide rolls, making it particularly well suited to larger installations where fewer joins are preferred.
Classic Mystique PUR sheet vinyl should be fitted by an experienced flooring installer. Store rolls in the installation area and allow the material, adhesive and subfloor to acclimatise before work begins.
The subfloor must be smooth, dry, clean and structurally sound. Complete moisture testing and any necessary damp-proofing or smoothing work before fitting, as imperfections in the subfloor can affect the finished sheet surface.
Plan the sheet layout to minimise joints and position seams appropriately for the room’s use. Apply a compatible adhesive in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions, lay the sheet within the adhesive’s working time and roll it thoroughly to secure an even bond.
Where the specification requires a hygienic or impervious finish, seams should be grooved and heat welded using the correct matching weld rod.

Classic Mystique PUR is designed for low-maintenance commercial use. Remove dust, grit and other loose debris routinely with dry mopping, brushing or vacuuming, especially in entrance areas and busy circulation routes.
For regular cleaning, use a damp mop or scrubber dryer with an approved neutral cleaning solution. Attend to spills promptly and avoid abrasive pads, harsh solvents or unsuitable chemicals that could mark the polyurethane-reinforced surface.
A planned light-cleaning routine, combined with effective entrance matting, will help maintain the floor’s appearance and reduce the need for more intensive cleaning. Avoid applying polish unless it is specifically required by the project maintenance plan.
