Ensure the subfloor is clean, dry, sound, smooth and suitably prepared before installation, removing dust, grease, loose material and other contaminants. Vanguard Timbertex has a felt backing and should be accurately measured, cut and installed by a competent flooring professional using a suitable installation method and compatible adhesive where required. Ensure the vinyl is laid flat without creases, trapped air or excessive tension, with seams and edges properly secured. The flooring is 2.5mm thick, provides 16dB impact-noise reduction and is available in 2m, 3m and 4m widths with 30m roll lengths. Sweep or vacuum regularly to remove dust and loose dirt, then clean with a lightly damp mop using a suitable vinyl floor cleaning product. Wipe up spills promptly and avoid abrasive cleaners, excessive water, steam cleaning and sharp objects that could damage the surface or wear layer.
